Change stolen from parked cars in Murray River

Kings District RCMP have received four complaints of money being taken from parked vehicles in the Murray River area.

Along with small amounts of change, a flashlight was stolen from one of the vehicles parked in the area between April 30 and May 1.  

At least one of the thefts is believed to have occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on May 1.

RCMP reminded the public to not leave valuables in vehicles and to lock doors when the vehicle is unattended.
