Summerside area man sentenced to 36 months in jail for possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.

A Summerside area man was sentenced to 36 months in jail for possession for the purpose of trafficking.

East Prince RCMP conducted a traffic stop on April 11th in the Summerside area.

The stop resulted in Terry Albert Glenn Allen, 53, being charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.

Allen appeared before Provincial Court Judge Jeffery Lantz on Monday and was sentenced to 36 months in jail for this offence.
