Charlottetown Police Services is investigating an assault at a P.E.I. liquor store.

A 35-year-old Charlottetown man is facing assault charges after a late night disturbance at a capital city liquor store.

Charlottetown Police Services were called to the disturbance at the Oak Tree Place liquor store on University Avenue Monday night at 9:05 p.m.

Police arrested the 35-year-old. He is accused of assaulting another man outside the liquor store.

The accused was jailed at the Provincial Correctional Centre and will be appearing in court at a later date to face his charges.

    must be a mistake. that would NEVER EVER happen in the capital city of CANADA. recheck i can not see it.
