Dr. James Mark conducted the P.E.I. Symphony Orchestra's Celebrate! concert Sunday in the Homburg Theatre.

Mark, who has been conductor of the PEISO for more than 12 years, will retire from the orchestra effective October of next year. The next performance of the symphony will be Dec. 2 when it performs Handel's Messiah along with the Confederation Singers. It will be conducted by Donald Fraser. Soloists for that performace will be Sung Ha Shin-Bouey, soprano; Lucy Hayes Davis, mezzo soprano; Graham Thomson, tenor and Nathan Keoughan, bass.
