The governor of the Bank of Canada will attend a meeting with the premiers in Halifax later this month to discuss the economy.

Nova Scotia Premier Darrell Dexter says Mark Carney will present the bank’s outlook for the global and Canadian economies and inflation in Canada.

The two-day meeting is scheduled to begin Nov. 22.

Dexter invited Prime Minister Stephen Harper, but he declined.
