The board of directors for the Sir Andrew Macphail Homestead hopes recent public support in the media for the site translates into more visitors, volunteers and business for the Orwell attraction.

A chain now serves as a temporary security blockade at the Sir Andrew Macphail homestead in Orwell after thieves plundered the site over the past few days. The board is considering a locked gate. Guardian photo

This is a wonderful place. I did not see the November dinner anywhere else but on the website. Hopefully you are taking advantage of the various news outlets! How about a snow shoeing evening and dinner!
