The eighth animal to be profiled in the 2015 edition of the 12 Strays of Christmas is Santana, a 95-pound Belgian Sheepdog/Groenendael.

The eighth animal to be profiled in the 2015 edition of the 12 Strays of Christmas is Santana, a 95-pound Belgian Sheepdog/Groenendael.

He is very loving and affectionate and has lots of energy for running in the country despite his eight years of age.

Santana enjoys adventures like driving in the car and swimming at the beach.

He also likes cats, dogs and being chased when he has a toy.

Holiday tip #8: After you have had your fill of holiday turkey, ham, chicken and/or roast beef, make sure you throw those bones away — do not give them to your pet.

You might think that you are giving them a treat, but actually you may be threatening their health.

Bones can splinter easily and cause damage to your pet's throat and intestines.
