Two-time Olympic gold medalist Heather Moyse has been named as narrator for the 2014 Business Hall of Fame Gala scheduled for May 22 at the Delta Prince Edward in Charlottetown.

Betty Ferguson, president and CEO of JA, says the event will be an inspiring evening where P.E.I.’s community and business leaders come together to pave the way for its future entrepreneurs and leaders.

The JA PEI Business Hall of Fame was established in 1998 by Junior Achievement, P.E.I. to provide a link between the province’s economic heritage and the promise of a prosperous future by honouring key Island business people. The awards gala raises funds to support JA’s business and economic education programs that reached more than 4,300 Island students this year in schools across the province.

CBC News Compass host Bruce Rainnie will act as host of the evening’s festivities as three outstanding business leaders are recognized.

Donald S. Allan, innovative entrepreneur agriculture industry, Albert M. Ferris, entrepreneur, educator and mentor and Arnold Wightman, visionary and Island business entrepreneur, will be inducted in to the 2014 Business Hall of Fame at the gala dinner.
