So Much Sadness in Haiti and Afghanistan.....time for some military humour

I received this e mail from My baby Brother Joe Thanks for sharing with us.

Lots of pictures recirculate and recirculate but these I have not seen before. Our troops have not lost their sense of humor.

Gotta Love this one !

This email was sent to you free of political rhetoric . I LIKED IT, so I forwarded it, kindly do the same.

As the horror of Haiti continues and the mission in Afghanistan continues. I hope these pictures showed you a happier part of military life.

As we pray for more Canadians to be rescued time is indeed passing quickly. Our brave Canadians that are serving in Haiti RCMP, Police, Military and the dozens of NGO's Civilians are constantly in our prayers and thoughts.

I would also like to share this story from Readers Digest sent to me by Rex in Alberta.

A granpaw was playing hockey with his 5 year old grandson in the driveway. The little boy stopped every 5 minutes or so putting down his stick and climbing on his bike. He drove circles around the driveway, then picked up the stick and played again. After three or four times of the cycling the Granpaw said to him. Make up your mind it's either hockey or bike riding. The 5 yr old said Granpaw that not a bike it's the Zamboni.....Only in Canada eh?

I totally agree about the humour bit. The tragic events of Haiti ... it's better to take a break for a day and share a smile.

These are some pretty cute ones. I like the fire truck the most ;0)
