What a fortnight. In this old world.

Trooper Diab repatriated and travels the highway of heroes. May he RIP.

Trooper Diab arrives in Trenton

What a couple of weeks. Canada has lost four soldiers due to IED's. The government wants to talk with taliban moderates ??

In Ireland two young soldiers killed by mindless real IRA 4 people wounded. Then a policeman two days later. By another splinter group of mindless killers.

In Canada Khawaja receives a 10 1/2 year sentence for terrorism his counterparts in the UK received Life sentences.

The first person in Canada charged and found guilty of Tourist Travel Paedophilia was sentenced to 8 years. The two Canadians tried for the same offence in the USA received 200 years and 180 years respectively.

What does this say of Canada's softhearted judges, since Canada copies a lot from the US we should copy the more severe penalties for these heinous crimes.

The drunk in Saskatchewan who took his 2 toddler daughters out side wearing only diapers in minus 30 temperatures then loses them and they die. He gets 3 years.

I am very confused with Canada and the judiciary, they give hard time for so called white collar crime but the taking of a life or abuse of children a slap on the wrists. Is this what our soldiers are fighting for?

The only good news lately was that the four hostages of Medecin sans Frontiere were freed including our nurse from PEI. In the Sudan.

I pray that our Judges open their minds to the concerns of Canadians and punish those who commit atrocities against mankind.

Waves of sorrow: Search ends for 16 missing in chopper crash. May their families grief, be eased by faith and our prayers.

Please show your support for our Troops. May they all come home safely to their loved ones.

until our judges are ELECTED , & not just appointed ,they will continue to be
wilting willies, as they strive to serve their ploitical masters , it costs to much
to incaserate convicts, so it's just a revolving door for inmates whom no longer fear due process.. they know the most they ever receive for punishment for crimes is akin to ,14 day's shame on you..! It my opinion that the criminals have more rights than the public..!
