The high price of Freedom and Democracy ! ! ... . ....Tragedy in Moose jaw

Canada's Afghan mission could cost up to $18.1B, yes the price of freedom and Democracy is High, but what is the alternative. A people destroyed by the cowardly taliban infringing their disgusting beliefs on women and children.

An encouraging Quote from PM Harper..... When we have men and women in uniform, diplomats and development workers who are putting their lives on the line, the government will spend what is necessary to make sure they are safe and successful.Prime Minister Stephen Harper

The military mission in Afghanistan could cost a total of $18.1 billion or $1,500 per Canadian household by 2011, according to a government report that also criticized how financial records are being kept.

Canada has spent $7.7 billion to $10.5 billion on costs related to its mission in the past six years, and may spend $13.9 billion to $18.1 billion by the end of the 2010-11 budget year, according to The Fiscal Impact of the Canadian Mission in Afghanistan tabled by parliamentary budget officer Kevin Page on Thursday.

Whatever the cost I feel that the ends will justify the means.

Get your head out of the sand Robby. The Brits said that the war is unwinable. The Americans are broke and are being held up by Communist China who buys their worthless bonds.

Russia is laughing their heads off remembering how the US send the Afganees stinger missils to shoot down their hellicopters. Oh, did I mention that the guys that were helping the US were the Taliban.

They got in trouble with the CIA for trying to stop the growth and distribution of drugs.

I hear that our troups have to ignore the cultivation of popies. It sort of gives new meaning to the poem, 'In Afganistan fields the poppies grow, between the crosses row on row.'

The Afgan military and police have the reputation for sexually raping young boys - another matter that we have to turn a blind eye to but you'd think they would still hear the screams.

Not to mention the massive corruption of the puppet Afgan government.

The Taliban are strengthening because of the high rate of casualties done by the 'good guys' bombing the poop out of their men women and children and the average Afgan hates our guts.

The only support our troups are getting are from spin doctors like yourself and the uneducated that have no knowledge of the real world.

Have you ever been off the Island?
