Police Training Handed over to CANUCKS!!

Yet another task for our troops serving in Afghanistan.

NATO has placed Canada in charge of training the Afghan National Police force. Our training teams will consist of a mix of soldiers and policemen from both the RCMP and various City policemen.

This photo shows a brief glimpse of the Afghan Future!! yes the children who are also caught up in this conflict. Rather than playing Hopscotch or going to school they are in the shadow of death on a daily basis. THIS IS WHY CANADA IS FIGHTING the Taliban. To make this country safe for the young. The Nations Future.

Sadly 3 German allies were killed this weekend, and at Home we lost a Snowbird pilot. Our sympathies to the families and friends of all these men.

Remember tie a Yellow Ribbon and wear the RED on Friday. Let us show our unflinching support for our men and women in the military.

I am currently serving in Afghanistan with the Canadian Army, and there is nothing better than seeing all the kids line the side of the roads when I roll past them in my LAV III. It shows that we ARE making a difference. It makes me proud to be a Canadian, and even prouder to serve in the Canadian Armed Forces!
