SAR techs in my opinion are the bravest of the Brave. They risk their lives to save others, wheter in the sea, on land in Mountains or forests.
Sadly Sgt Jannick Gilbert died mid recue in the Noirth.
"He lost his life in the service of the country while unselfishly answering the call for help," stated Lt.-Gen. André Deschamps, commander of the Royal Canadian Air Force in a press release.

May he Rest in Peace and may the Lord take care of his family in this saddest of times.
Although this untimely death overshadows the news. Canadian should be very proud of the SAR techs. They risk life and limb with no thought of their own life.
Please remember Sgt Gilbert in your thoughts and prayers.
