A great day across Canada yesterday and in Kandahar, where our troops celebrated bothe Canada Day and the fact that they are coming home.

Canada was also honoured by the presence of their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. They were a big hit at the Ottawa stop and in a day or so they will be here in PEI for a visit,
Prince William praised Canada's Troops and thanked them for their service.

Sadly Libya is still explosive with Ghadaffi now threatening to destroy homes and properties in Europe in retaliation.
NATO should now step back from what is clearly a Civil War.
Our soldiers ,sailors and primarily our airmen are part of the NATO offensive against Libya. They too will have missed Canada with families and friends,
So once again I ask for your prayers for the safe return of our troops. Whether at Church,Chapel,synagogue, Temple, Mosque, at home or wherever, say a few words for the safe return of our troops to the arms of their loved ones.
