A Monday filled with Concern

Van Doos In

Breaking News: 6 NATO soldiers killed by men in Afghan Police uniforms! This is the danger that our trainers, will be facing on a daily basis.I send my condolences to the familes of those struck down and Pray that none are Canadian.

Wiki leaks should be shut down permanently !!! Yep that’s what I think. This dangerous Damning Website is going to cause a lot of problems throughout the world. I realise that living here on PEI where the biggest concern is Sunday Shopping, I may be in the minority of Islanders who are concerned about the Global ramifications of Wilkileaks.

Not only our troops, aid groups, NGO’s as well as CIDA staff and embassy staff around the world may be compromised. I realise that my opinion may not stir any interest locally, but I feel that people need not know everything their Government is doing. That is why we have the Official Secrets Act. These fools from Wilkileak are criminal hackers and should be punished, shut down and never heard from publically again.

Meanwhile the RCR have been replaced by the Royal 22cd Regiment. Our Vandoos are  fine soldiers, who may be a little restrained in their operations as NATO practices Glasnost.

My thanks to the Royal Canadian Regiment for their  fine performance in Afghanistan. I am positive that the VanDoos will carry on with your operations in their fine professional manner.

Now the 2 Koreas, should a shooting war reignite between North and South, Canada is obligated under the Cease Fire of 1953, to aid and assist the South.  This is not a good situation for our troops nor for Canada. Our troops are exhausted after 9 years in Afghanistan. The morale is low as they read and hear of people that are against the war and them. Our Soldiers go where they are sent. That is the key word SENT. They do not fly off willy nilly Governments send them into danger.

Canadian Troops are Proud of the job they do and I feel that they deserve our Support, especially at times like this. This is not a great time Globally, Afghanistan, Haiti, Korea N & S, various parts of Africa, Iran and Iraq to mention but a few.

As Christmas is fast approaching, I would like to see the Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu as well as the Islamic World join in a prayer for Peace and mankind in general.

Please Support our Troops and their families. www.invisiblearmycanada.ca

Sadly a further 6 US Soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan. They were Trainers, this is what Canada must be wary of: The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, saying the gunman joined the border police in order to kill foreign soldiers. "Today he found this opportunity and he killed six invaders," Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said in a statement emailed to the media. May they Rest in Peace and be returned to thier loved ones.
