The more people I meet, the more stories I hear, the fuller my life is.
I believe that life is about connecting with people and their stories. Last week this lovely letter found its way to my inbox:
Dear Cindy,
I used to catch your broadcast a lot on CTV. I lost track of you until our local paper had a page on your current web broadcast. You carried a series on which you featured children's pictures of the day. Being a kid at heart, I always thought of sending one in but I'm a tad old. Last time I saw my father he gave me a picture I drew on June 4th, 1969, two days before my fifth birthday. I call it "Star Night."
The unique thing about this is that I am a marine draftsman for a company in Lower Woods Harbour. I now draw lobster boats, etc.
I've also attached a picture of Jordan River, (where I live) just after the Lockport 24 Exit on the #103. I enjoy your broadcast and find it complete. Take care. Regards, James Brant
P.S.: Hope it makes your day!
James, you have no idea. Life is a fascinating journey with so many twists and turns. Thank you for sharing a tiny piece of yours with us.
