What a sight!

This majestic bird was spotted in Port Morien NS on Monday.  The snowy egret is described as an elegant heron with white plumage, black legs and brilliant yellow feet that have earned it the nickname of golden slippers.
Snowy egrets nest regularly up to southern Maine but appear in Nova Scotia yearly as spring overshoots.  Katherine MacDonald surmises that he was self-isolating!
