Do you recognize the tartan? Or are you too focused on the intricate detail in this macro photo of a snowflake? Mary Hankey from Lexington, Inverness County, N.S. says: "trying to capture photos of snowflakes is challenging even with light winds, but so worth the effort. This was taken using the tartan scarf as a backdrop. What looks like two longer wool fibres at the bottom of the snowflake are hem stitches that are just 0.40cm (0.157 inches) each."
Stunning, Mary, thank you! By the way, it's the Royal Stewart Tartan.
