The Sandpipers’ fall migration is underway. Before they embark on their journey, they have a rest period. Warren Hoeg was at the Guzzle, along the Minas Basin in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley on Saturday when we took this gorgeous photo. He titled it: “When there is no room at the "Inn" and went on to explain that during their rest period, sandpipers have a unique way of finding a place to sit on their chosen rock. If there is no room, they simply chose to land on another Sandpiper's back until he moves, and gives up his spot. Don’t try that a home.
