CINDY’S SNAPSHOT: Buckets and buckets of blueberries

Gerald and Marjorie Zwicker had the perfect day at Reimer Gardens last Saturday. Gerald has always loved picking berries of any kind. Now having to depend on a walker for his mobility, this is the only place that he can go that he can get out of the car.
In addition, Majorie has her own reasons for her love of blueberries. Having cancer 12 years ago, she was told by the Cancer Clinic in Halifax to eat a lot of blueberries. Ever since, the pair have been doing just that.
Together, they picked until their heart’s content and gathered more than 43 pounds of blueberries that day.
