Tracy Justason was very excited when she captured this lovely photo of a rainbow Sunday evening in Pennfield NB. If you look closely you'll see a double rainbow.
The first and brighter rainbow is called the primary rainbow; the second and more faint rainbow is called the secondary rainbow. The secondary bow becomes visible when refracted light does not escape the raindrop after being reflected the first time.
A double rainbow is considered a symbol of transformation and is a sign of good fortune. Fingers crossed! Thank you for sharing Tracy.
