CINDY'S SNAPSHOT: A “corduroy” sky above Nova Scotia’s Brule Shore

By now I’m sure you know how much I love clouds.  Jon Curry spotted these near his home along Nova Scotia’s Brule Shore.  He described what he saw as a “corduroy” sky.  How lovely.  That cloud type is also known to many – including Grandma - as a washboard sky.   
Grandma Says:  “washboard sky not three days dry”.  It implies that there are weak weather systems in the area….
