The 4th Nor’easter in just over a week is barrelling across the region today. The storm is expected to spend some time with us over the next couple of days. The system will quickly weaken and precipitation amounts will drop off but the wind will stay strong into Thursday. As what’s left of the low pulls out, a wind shift to the NW will usher in drier, cooler conditions for the weekend.

The 2024 theme aims to bring attention to the serious issue of plastic pollution and how it harms nature. Here on Saturday, April 20, 2024, City of St. John’s parks service worker Chris Hoddinott enjoys the sunshine and mild spring temperatures while he was weeding out and edging this flower bed following the past winter.
