PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND: Cue the April Showers

I’ve been in this business a long time but I still marvel at the physics of the atmosphere. This retrograde scenario that continues to unfold is fascinating. As expected, the second wave of rain is now backing in from the east. As it pushes westwards, it will come up again that powerful offshore storm and the pressure gradient will tighten – that means wind and not a nice breeze. The E to NE wind will gust to 50 km/h for a few days. There are Wreckhouse and Suetes wind warnings in effect with gusts as high a 110 km/h expected tonight and tomorrow.
