CHARLOTTETOWN: Windy cool end to winter
Another stalled storm over the Labrador sea is serving up more wind and below normal temperatures. The next in a series of weak cold fronts attached to the low is pushing down across the region this afternoon. It’s a quiet system traveling through with only a few flurries and a wind shift to the west. The last front in the series will be similar and push down late tomorrow. By Wednesday evening, the centre of a fair weather system will back the wind to the south and bring more seasonal temperatures for Thursday. The week will end on a mild but soggy note. The mild weather is not going to linger… cold air returns heading into the first weekend of spring.
