CHARLOTTETOWN: At long last, some sun... but keep your rain gear handy
We're finally in for a much-deserved break in this soggy weather. A narrow dry slot will slide across the province Thursday and Friday serving up dry weather and at least “some” sunshine. The cool north wind will come around to the south on Friday and that will allow for a return to seasonal temperatures. That southerly breeze will develop ahead of another rainmaker but this one is not expected to linger. The rain will move in before sunrise Saturday pull out late in the day; south-easterly winds will gust to 70 km/h for much of the day. Sunday is going to be quite a treat with some sunshine and warmer temperatures.
