CHARLOTTETOWN: Stalled system serves up soggy scenario...
A conveyor belt of moisture continues to bring waves of rain, drizzle and fog to the region. I don’t expect much more than short-lived 12 to 16 hour breaks between the areas of rain. As a high pressure system slides across northern Quebec, colder air funnelling into the top of the weather maker will hold our daytime highs in the single digits and serve up a raw northeast wind; we could even see a few flurries on Thursday. Friday looks fair but there’ll be more rain on the way overnight into Saturday morning. Sunday…should be dry!
