Egyptian pro Youssef Hossam was banned for life for match-fixing, the Tennis Integrity Union announced Monday.
Hossam, 21, who was already serving a provisional suspension that began in May 2019, was cited for 21 instances of rule-breaking.
Hossam's older brother, Karim, was banned for life in 2018 after being found guilty on 16 charges.
Youssef Hossam's alleged offenses occurred between 2015 and 2019. The TIU said he was found guilty of eight cases of match-fixing, six cases of facilitating gambling, three failures to report corrupt approaches, two cases of soliciting other players not to use best efforts and two failures to cooperate with a TIU investigation.
His hearing was March 9-11 in London in front of independent anti-corruption hearing officer Jane Mulcahy.
"As a result of his conviction, Mr. Hossam is now permanently excluded from competing in or attending any sanctioned tennis event organized or recognized by the governing bodies of the sport," the TIU said in a statement.
Hossam is currently ranked 820th in ATP singles. His career-best ranking was 291st in December 2017.
Karim Hossam's highest singles ranking was No. 337 in 2013. The now-26-year-old allegedly committed his offenses from 2013-17.
