TIGNISH, P.E.I. — Two members of the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces have been named the players of the week in the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League for Oct. 23 to 29.
Brayden Handrahan took the offensive award while Colin Gaudette was named the top defensive performer.
Handrahan is coming off a huge offensive weekend that vaulted him to the top of the league scoring race. He had five goals and three assists for eight points in Tignish’s two wins to improve his league-leading point total to nine.
Gaudette stopped 25 of 26 shots in a road win over the Sherwood-Parkdale Metros.
Gaudette joined the Aces late last season and was a big contributor to the Aces winning the Island championship. Tignish will look to him, once again, to lead the team this season.
