Stammberger named Dalhousie male athlete of the week

HALIFAX – Fifth-year basketball player Sven Stammberger is this week’s male athlete of the week at Dalhousie University.
Stammberger, who previously lived in the Kensington area, scored 23 points and collected nine rebounds and four assists to lead the Tigers past the Acadia Axemen 85-65 in Wolfville, N.S., on Thursday night.
On Saturday, Stammberger had 18 points, six rebounds and six assists in the Tigers’ 75-63 loss to Acadia in Halifax.
Stammberger, who lives in Halifax, is an MBA corporate residency student.
