SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Phoebe van der Meulen of Summerside scored a pair of goals to help the St. Thomas Tommies to a victory in Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) women’s soccer play Wednesday night.

A graduate of Three Oaks Senior High School, van der Meulen scored in the 71st and 73rd minutes to give the Tommies a 4-0 lead en route to a 6-0 whitewashing of the Crandall Chargers in Fredericton, N.B.
A fourth-year centre midfielder, van der Meulen has scored three goals in the Tommies’ first two games – a win and a tie.
