CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Shunya Kobayashi of the Holland College Hurricanes men’s soccer team is the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) male athlete of the week.
The first-year winger scored the eventual game-winning goal against St. Thomas in Sunday’s ACAA championship game and scored three times in the Hurricanes semifinal win over Mount Saint Vincent.
Marilyn Burke of the Mount Saint Vincent women’s soccer team was named the female athlete of the week.
Burke helped the Mystics win the ACAA women’s soccer championship.
