Opponent not yet announced for New Waterford fighter's Bellator debut

NEW WATERFORD, N.S. —
An opponent for a New Waterford mixed martial arts fighter set to make his Bellator MMA debut has not yet been announced.
Steven MacDonald, 27, signed a multi-year, multi-fight contract with Bellator in September. He's expected to make his professional debut before the end of the year.
The Cape Breton Post reached out to Bellator in an attempt to confirm MacDonald's debut date and opponent. In an email, Christopher Tuttle, senior public relations manager for Bellator, said neither were confirmed.
As part of the contract, MacDonald will fight in the light-heavyweight division and will participate in at least four fights.
