AMHERST, N.S. — A Cape Breton product has been suspended in the Maritime Junior Hockey.

Amherst Ramblers head coach Doug Doull, originally from Glace Bay, was suspended one game by the junior 'A' league for verbal abuse of an official.

The incident happened on Monday when the Ramblers played the Truro Bearcats at the Amherst Stadium.

Amherst lost the game to Truro 4-3 in overtime on a goal by former Cape Breton West Islanders forward Stephen Fox.

Doull received the game misconduct following the overtime winner.
