NORTH SYDNEY, N.S. — Eastview Dexter won for the second week in a row, in upset fashion, defeating a field of six in one minute, 58.40 seconds as part of a nine-race card held Saturday, Sept. 5.
Driver Mark Pezzarello had Eastview Dexter on the lead into the first turn before yielding top spot to Johnnie Jack and Greg Sparling before the opening quarter.

Johnnie Jack finished second with betting favourite Intended Royalty third. It was one of two wins on the day for Pezzarello, who also drove Skycrew to a two-length victory in 2:00.20 for owner Richie O'Donnell.
