SYDNEY, N.S. — The Cape Breton Eagles will open a home-and-home weekend series with the Halifax Mooseheads tonight (Dec. 6).
The Eagles (16-10-1-1) will begin the two-game series tonight when they travel to Halifax to play the Mooseheads (13-12-2-1). Game time is 7 p.m. at Scotiabank Centre.
Cape Breton last played Halifax on Oct. 29 in Halifax. The Eagles won the game 7-1 on the back of a four-point performance from forward Ryan Francis.
The Eagles are coming off a 5-4 win over the Moncton Wildcats at Centre 200 on Sunday, while the Mooseheads also played on Sunday, losing 5-2 to the Charlottetown Islanders.
Following tonight's game, the two teams will meet again Saturday at 7 p.m. at Centre 200 in Sydney.
