SYDNEY, N.S. — The Cape Breton Eagles fell out of the Canadian Hockey League’s Top 10 Rankings this week after suffering losses to the Moncton Wildcats and Val-d’Or Foreurs last week.
This week, the Eagles were an honourable mention in the rankings. The team’s previous ranking was No. 4 in the country.
Cape Breton will look to return to the top 10 rankings next week. The team defeated the Charlottetown Islanders 3-2 in overtime on Wednesday and will play the Halifax Mooseheads tonight in
Sydney and Saturday in Halifax.
