The visiting Fire edged the hosts 3-2. Lynx goals were scored by Maddie Corbett and Maira Pino. On Saturday, the Bedford-based Station Six squad (6-3-3) upended the Lynx (3-8-1) by a score of 5-2. Corbett and Claire LeBlanc scored for Cape Breton. The Lynx are home again next weekend when they host the Bussey Auto Brokers Penguins (3-8-0) on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday at 10:30 a.m., with both games slated for Membertou.
