Phaneuf heading to Kings: Reports

OTTAWA, ONT. – Dion Phaneuf is heading to the west coast.

According to multiple reporters who cover the NHL the Senators are trading the defenceman, who has a summer home in the New London area, and Nate Thompson to the Los Angeles Kings for Marian Gaborik and Nick Shore.

TSN’s Bob McKenzie note the trade call was not done, so the deal was not official.
