CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The SoccerStop P.E.I. F.C. keeps on winning.

The Island's top senior men's soccer sqad defeated Fundy United 3-1 Saturday in McCain New Brunswick Premier Soccer League action. It was the squad's ninth straight victory after opening the season with a road loss to Codiac First Touch.

P.E.I. led 1-0 at the half Saturday but Fundy scored moments into the second half.

P.E.I. F.C. recently defeated Codiac 6-2 to clinch top spot in the five-team circuit. Irba Sanoh scored twice while Sam Smiley, Jake Deighan and Lucas Ross addded singles.

The team concludes regular season play today at home by hosting C.S. Dieppe at 3 p.m. at UPEI.
