CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – SoccerStop P.E.I. F.C. recorded its first victory of the season Saturday, defeating the Fredericton Reds to improve to 1-0-1.
The squad is atop the McCain New Brunswick Premier Soccer League standings.
Nacho Sanchez, Lucas Ross and Jared Murphy scored in the victory while Brandon Eagle was the winning keeper.
P.E.I. F.C. returns to the turf on Friday when it travels to New Brunswick to play the C.S. Diepee at 6:30 p.m. Its next home game is Saturday, June 16 at 1 p.m. when it hosts Fundy United at UPEI.
