Women's soccer Panthers lose home opener 2-0 to Acadia

Sisters Jenna and Jayden Boudreau each scored Friday to propel to the Acadia Axewomen to a 2-0 victory over the host UPEI Panthers in Atlantic University Sport women’s soccer action.

Jenna Boudreau and Grace Longley drew the assists while Sarah Charnock recorded the clean sheet.

Amanda Stanyer made nine saves in the loss.
The Axewomen improved to 2-0-0 while the Panthers are 0-3-0 heading to Fredericton, N.B., Sunday to play the UNB Varsity Reds, who are 0-2-0 before hosting Memorial (2-0-0) on Saturday.
