CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — P.E.I.’s Kurt Taylor was on a tear during the fourth round of Motorsport Racing Canada’s Atlantic racing series at Miller Meadow Motorcross Park in Halifax, N.S.

Taylor captured a second-place overall finish in the +40 class and an overall third place finish in the vet master pro class.

This was especially impressive after a crash in the early morning practice rounds that damaged Taylor’s bike and left him a little banged up.

He was able to fix up the bike enough to keep racing before his first moto and had a strong day, adding points to his season totals.

Rookie racer, 11-year-old Logan Gregory from Stratford had his best showing to date with a fourth-place finish in his flourth moto of the day and an overall seventh place for the day in the 85cc class.

The next race in the Atlantic racing series is July 29 in River Glade, just outside Moncton, N.B.

In other action, Liz Burke from Rollo Bay has been away in Ontario competing in the national racing series and had a fourth-place and first place result two weeks ago at Sand del Lee and another strong weekend with top five finishes at Gopher Dunes recently.
