WOLFVILLE, N.S. – Ben Miller had game highs of 23 points and eight assists to pace the Acadia Axemen to a 92-81 victory over the UPEI Panthers Saturday in Atlantic University Sport men’s basketball action.
It was the host Axemen’s first win of the season after starting the year with three straight losses. The Panthers dropped their first game of the year Saturday and opening the season 3-0.
Junior Moaku-Matia scored 22 points for the Axemen while Marcus Upshaw chipped in 20 off the bench.
Sophomore Dakelle Brooks scored 19 points to lead the Panthers while Amin Suleman and Judy Georges each contributed 12 points.
