MONTAGUE, P.E.I. — Today’s Quebec Major Junior Hockey League pre-season game in Montague has been cancelled.
The Charlottetown Islanders were to host the Moncton Wildcats but due to Saturday’s storm the decision was made to cancel the contest.

The Islanders have two games remaining in the pre-season. They host the Saint John Sea Dogs Friday at 7 p.m. at the Eastlink Centre and travel to Bouctouche, N.B., on Sunday, Sept. 15, to play the Wildcats.
The Islanders and Wildcats will open the regular season on Friday, Sept. 20, at 7:30 p.m. at the Eastlink Centre.
