CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Championship trophies were awarded during the under-15 and under-18 provincial soccer finals during the weekend.

The Sherwood-Parkdale Rangers defeated the Eliot River Ramblers 2-0 to capture the Subway Provincial Cup under-18 boys’ division one soccer final. Jose Criosotomo, Colin Blanchard scored the goals in the second half while Nolan Barry recorded the shutout. Team members, front row, from left, are John Mackinnon, Andrew McKenna, Matthew Roberts, Jose Crisostomo, Nolan Barry, Colin Blanchard, Matthew Cardoso, Drew Connolly, Andrew Williamson and Aidan Campbell. The West Prince Storm, the regular season champs, shut out the Eastern Eagles 4-0 to capture the Subway Provincial Cup under-15 girls’ division one soccer final. W.C. Royals F.C. defeated the Kensington & Area S.C. 1-0 on an own goal to win the Subway Provincial Cup under-15 boys’ division one soccer final. The goal came off a Royals’ corner kick while Seth Fraser recorded the clean sheet.
