CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The Canadian pair of Brett Gallant of Charlottetown and Jocelyn Peterman of Winnipeg defeated Denmark 11-5 Tuesday to improve to 4-0 at the world mixed doubles curling championship in Norway.
Canada started early by scoring three in the first. The teams traded singles the next two ends and Norway added one more in the fourth before Canada scored four in the fifth to take a commanding 8-2 lead.
Norway scored a triple in the sixth before Canada counted three in the seventh and the teams shook hands afterwards.
Canada plays Sweden today at 4 p.m. Atlantic.
