UPEI won the contest 77-50 to improve to a conference-best 11-1 and gain four points in the standings.

UPEI has won nine straight games.

The Panthers held quarter leads of 19-12, 45-17 and 61-33.

Reese Baxendale led the Panthers with 16 points while Kimeshia Henry had 14, Jenna Mae Ellsworth 12 and Tamara Timm 10. Del Santo finished with 11 rebounds, eight points and four assists. Charles had a team-high 16 points for the Tigers.

The Panthers travel to St. John’s, N.L., this weekend to play the Memorial Sea-Hawks on Saturday and Sunday.
