MacEachern, who is from East Wiltshire, fired a nine-hole round of 53 to finish three strokes ahead of Madison Keough of Summerside Intermediate and Birchwood’s Grace Yeo at the Ocean View Golf Club on Wednesday.
MacEachern also helped the East Wiltshire team, which also included Hayden Ford, Bella Galaise and Chelsea Affleck, win the girls’ team title with a 167 score.
Chisholm, who also represents East Wiltshire, shot a 78 in the 18-hole boys’ event. He finished two shots ahead of Sam Parsons of Birchwood and five in front of Evan Doherty of Vernon River.
Chisholm, Gavin MacDougall, Myles Grant and Nolan Murray had a score of 259 to win the boys’ team championship.
Organizers were very pleased with the record participation of 32 girls in this year’s championship. Overall, a total of 65 students represented 14 different schools.
