POWNAL, P.E.I. – Will MacDougall had a goal and two assists to pace the Pownal Taco Boyz Red Devils to a 5-1 win over the Sherwood Drug Mart Central Attack Monday in Prince Edward Island Midget AAA Hockey league action.
Lance Kennedy scored twice while Noah Brehaut and John-Thomas Wood added singles in the victory at the Pownal Sports Centre. Cole McKeigan and Thomas Docherty each had a pair of helpers while Jack Triantafflou added one.
Emmett Lyons from Owen Stewart and Nick Bowman replied for the Attack
Caleb Drake earned the win while Keegan Duffy took the loss.
Pownal, which held 2-1 and 4-1 period leads, was 1-for-6 on the power play and killed all eight of Central’s opportunities with the man advantage and scored a shorthanded goal in the third period.
Pownal improved to 1-1-0 while Central falls to 0-2-0.
